The check is received in the fencing office and processed by a member of the assistant coaching staff.
You decide which account you want to donate to and write a check or money order to Carolina fencing.
Special Account We can access your donation immediately if necessary. The money is used to buy new equipment and uniforms, provide lodging and meal money for athletes on trips, pay entry fees to tournaments such as the Temple Open and the Penn State Open, and supplement our regular season budget for travel and expenses.
We send you a thank you, as well as your incentive package, as soon as we have processed the check. This serves as your confirmation that the check has been received and deposited.
The assistant coach delivers your check to the Athletics Business Office and they deposit it in the specified account.
The Business Office sends us confirmation of the deposit and we track the data in our fundraising spreadsheet.
The Operations Endowment This money will sit in the account, garnering a 5% interest rate annually. After it sits for one year, we gain access to this interest when we need it. This money is used to help us with recruiting talented student-athletes, paying for team travel expenses such as lodging and transportation, and providing assistant coaching salaries.
