The Carolina Fencing program’s goal, in partnership with the Educational Foundation, is to raise $1 million. This endowment through the Educational Foundation is earmarked only for Carolina Fencing and can only be used for recruiting, assistant coach’s salary, and travel. Carolina Fencing would use five percent of the total funds contributions, thus creating a perpetual growth situation. The existing operating budge can be used only for the head coach’s salary and equipment. The continued successful legacy of the Carolina Fencing program is highly contingent upon its ability to procure endowment money.

Dino Megaloudis, major gift director at the Educational Foundation will be in attendance on Saturday to explain the endowment procedure and answer any questions. Any one interested in making a financial contribution, but unable to attend the weekend of October 8 should contact one of the following people.
